Caring: Be The Difference Ltd is a training company for healthcare providers. I offer a range of courses from first aid and CPR to how to perform personal care e.g. oral hygiene. For more information on my courses, please click here.
My Background I have been a qualified nurse since 1997 and have worked on respiratory, cardiology and haematology wards at Burnley General Hospital (BGH) and Royal Blackburn Hospital. During my time at BGH I was a link nurse for tissue viability and taught CPR and defibrillator awareness. I was a mentor for student nurses which enabled me to teach them nursing skills e.g. recording temperature, pulse, oxygen levels, etc. and the importance of documentation.
I qualified as a teacher in 2006 and worked at Burnley College for 4 years. I taught BTEC Level 3 in Health and Social Care (HSC) and GCSE HSC.
I am currently Deputy Manager at Palace House Care Home, where I have taught health and social care (HSC) e.g. CPR and infection control.
